There are a number of exhibition opportunities at Salford Museum & Art Gallery.
Applications are welcome from individual artists or practitioners, groups of artists, community groups, schools, collectors etc.
The Langworthy Gallery is our space dedicated to showing items from our collections. We explore different stories and ways of interpreting our collections through a yearly exhibition.
The Pilkington’s exhibition shows some of the best pieces from our Pilkington’s pottery collection and archive.
The North Gallery supports artists mainly from the North who have been selected through our application process. We also hold our biennial Open exhibition and Salford Art Club exhibition on alternate years.
The East Wing showcases contemporary art working in partnership with other organisations within Salford and beyond. There are usually two exhibitions in here per year.
The Victorian Gallery shows the splendour of our Victorian decorative and fine art. The gallery is hung to replicate the galleries of the Victorian era, packed with paintings, sculpture and objects from the museums collections.
The Park Gallery supports local art in conjunction with Pinc college. It showcases local artists and the work of Pinc college students. Please note this space is only open to the public at weekends and school holidays.
