Our ground floor café overlooks the beautiful Peel Park and the University of Salford’s Peel Building. It’s the ideal place to meet colleagues, study or socialise with family and friends.
Opening Times: Weekdays from 9.30am – 4.00pm, weekends from 11.30am – 4.00pm
Our café serves hot food until 2:30pm and snacks until 4:00pm.
Unless otherwise stated we are closed on bank holidays.
Our menu offers a variety of hot and cold lunch options, alongside great coffee and a tempting selection of cakes. We have a range of vegetarian and vegan choices available, and everything can be enjoyed in the café or taken away. Families are very welcome, with options for children, and we’re proud to be a peanut-free venue.
We are a non-profit organisation and all income generated from the café is re-invested in the service. Your support helps us to deliver a range of educational activities and to promote a changing exhibition programme.
Reservations & Hire
Afternoon Tea is available every day (by reservation only) for between two and eighty guests, prices starting at £16.50 per person. Please call or email for more information.
The large open plan café space is also ideal for events – please see our venue hire page for more information. For groups we advise booking in advance and can offer a range of lunch and buffet options.
