Salary / Grade: Grade 2, £18,562 – £19,312 pro rata plus weekend working enhancement
Working Hours: Role A: Weekends, 11.15am to 4.15pm. Role B: Sunday, 10.30am to 4.30pm

We have 3 exciting positions available for Front of House Assistants whose role is to assist in the weekend operation of Salford Museums with particular regard to high quality customer care, reception duties including sales and donations, gallery invigilation, security and maintaining public spaces.

The roles will be based at:

  • Role A: Salford Museum and Art Gallery, Saturday to Sunday, 11:15 am – 4:15pm
  • Role B: Ordsall Hall Sunday, 10:30am – 4:30pm

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has the enthusiasm to engage the public with our sites, solve problems and have a can do attitude
  • Has experience of using tills, booking systems social media streams and is IT literate
  • Is able to speak confidently to visitors and engage them with the museums offer
  • Can support and promote the donations strategy and undertake reception, shop and café duties
  • Consistently demonstrates SCL’s behaviours
