Cafe Assistants

Salary: SCL Grade 2: £16,863 (pro rata)*
Contract: Fixed term until 31 March 2020

We have an exciting position available for two café assistants whose role is to assist with the day-to-day operation of the café at Salford Museum and Art Gallery with particular emphasis on high standards of food service, cleaning and excellent customer care.

This role will be based at Salford Museum & Art Gallery, which welcomes over 100,000 visitors every year and has a varied programme of exhibitions and events.

*Salary is subject to enhancement for weekends.

Working Hours

  • Post 1: 16 hours per week, Friday 12-5pm, Saturday and Sunday 11am-4.30pm
  • Post 2: 16 hours per week, Thursday 12-5pm, Saturday and Sunday 11am-4.30pm

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is passionate about delivering excellent customer service
  • Has experience in a catering environment
  • Can work well in a team
  • Has experience of cash handling
  • Consistently demonstrates SCL’s behaviours
