Life Drawing Lates

Drawing and pencils
Following the roaring success of our Life Drawing Lates last year, we’re delighted to once again have them on selected Wednesdays all year round!

Featuring a live model as well as a different theme each month, these sessions are a great way to unwind after a busy day. Everyone is welcome to attend, from those starting to develop their drawing skills to experienced artists seeking regular practice. Guidance will be provided by local illustrator Paul Pickford.

All materials are included in the ticket price, with a variety of pencils, paper and boards available for use. We also encourage those who wish to bring their own materials to do so – provided these are ‘dry’ so no inks or paints to help protect our collections.

We are also now welcoming the use of electronic devices if you wish, but please note we do not allow the charging of these items in our gallery spaces.

New for 2026, some sessions will be held in our Victorian Gallery while others will be held in our café. Each month’s location will be noted on the session descriptions. We also now have a free prize draw at the end of the night!
