Filming

Even if you’ve never visited Salford Museum & Art Gallery, you might have seen it on TV, or even the big screen!

Our historic building has featured in a range of productions, from films, to TV dramas, documentaries and children’s shows.

We’ve also been known to host photography shoots, with our recreated Victorian Street Lark Hill Place acting as a unique backdrop or one of our galleries hosting photographers and models.

If you’re interested in booking Salford Museum & Art Gallery either as a location for filming or for a photography shoot and would like to come for a show round, please get in touch and make an enquiry.

We receive many requests from students regarding the use of the venue for their filming projects. We are happy to support these requests when possible, during our quieter times (after 2.30pm). Contact jo.byrne@scll.co.uk regarding availability.
