Here are some simple, restful ways to enjoy your visit:

  • Find a quiet spot in the galleries and use the pencils and paper provided to sketch or doodle.
  • Get cosy in the café with a brew and a book.
  • Explore the changing exhibitions, noticing what appeals to you today.
  • Discover Salford Museum and Art Galleries rich history – from a family home Lark Hill Mansion, to one of the country’s first free libraries, to the Museum and Art gallery you see today.
  • Pick up our START Wellbeing trail which includes:
    • Access to art materials
    • Prompts to get your creativity ignited
    • Information on other opportunities to improve your wellbeing
  • Come to one of our Relax with Art sessions on the last Friday of the month.
  • Explore our What’s On page for tours, workshops, Craft Social and more besides.
  • Wander behind the Museum to the beautiful Peel Park to enjoy the outdoors and see what is growing at this time of year.
