As part of the centenary celebrations, several artists have come together to present a group exhibition of new work inspired by Salford and the museum’s collection. With a focus on printmaking and textiles, the exhibition will showcase the artists’ work alongside the objects and artworks that have inspired them.
Artists: Louisa Boyd; Sharon Brown; Immaterial Collective (Claire Batt, Nerissa Cargill Thompson, Louise Ann Clarke, Alena Ruth Donely, Lowri Evans, Claire Hignett, Jane Lawson and Lee Smith); and Northern Contemporary Printmakers (Caitlin Akers, Michael Hitchens and Mandy Tolley).
