Join Caroline Coates to make a coaster and a pendant using this eco-friendly material!
During this session you’ll learn how to weigh, mix and add colours to Jesmonite, an eco-friendly concrete, to create your own unique pieces. For the terrazzo effect, you will be recycling discarded pieces from Caroline’s stash to create chips that can be mixed together for a dazzling, abstract pattern.
All materials will be provided. Suitable for complete beginners or for those looking to refresh their skills.
£20 per person, booking required.
This workshop is part of our Hybrid Futures programme of activities – an exhibition which brings together artworks by Shezad Dawood, Jessica El Mal, Parham Ghalamdar and RA Walden that explore the impact of climate change.
