Join a member of our staff as they guide you through a closer look at an artwork on display. This session isn’t about learning ‘facts’ about art – its’ about taking time to discover what happens when you slow down and look at something in detail.
Part of the session will involve thinking about what you can see, hear and feel sitting in the gallery, before focusing on the colour, texture, light and shade of a particular artwork. After the slow looking, there will be a simple creative activity and discussion.
This is safe and inclusive session where all are welcome to join in. You don’t need any art skills.
The group meets at reception before heading upstairs. All materials provided.
FREE, no booking required.
Ease yourself into being more creative and try out ‘slow looking’ as a way to relax.
