Join us for our brand-new open mic night hosted by local collective Northern Poets’ Society!

This month we’ve asked members of Northern Poets’ Society to write new pieces inspired by our current exhibition Salford & Manchester by Night by local artist Andrew Alan Matthews. The artist himself will also be a featured poet so this isn’t one to miss!

On the night, audience members will also be invited to share their own poems or spoken word pieces on this theme, or any topic. This is a safe, supportive space where all are welcome to participate – or you can simply sit back and enjoy! If you do wish to join in, the sign-up sheet will be made available at the start.

Drinks and snacks will also be on offer throughout the night from our cafe. Please note payment will be card only.

The event will be taking place from 6:00 – 8:00 pm, with the readings beginning at 6:30pm.

Ages 18+ only.

£5 per person, booking required.

Northern Poets’ Society is a community that was created by Brian Dunne during lockdown, who now hold regularly monthly zoom sessions as well as live events, with the aim of promoting an inclusive community where creativity can grow.
