Dive into the digital age with a free, interactive trail for all ages exploring digital technology in our everyday lives!

Join teams from the University of Salford, University of Manchester and Manchester Metropolitan University during this exclusive takeover day as part of this year’s Manchester Festival of Social Science.

You’ll find activities to suit all ages, from Under 5s right through to retirees, scattered all over our building. Explore digital technology through crafts, art, talks, video, making TikToks and even try your hand at recording a podcast. All inspired by expert research!

This event is part of the ESRC Festival of Social Science 2024 and was made possible thanks to funding from the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), which is part of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI). Manchester Festival of Social Science is a proud collaboration between the University of Salford, University of Manchester, and Manchester Metropolitan University. The museum has a private Pay & Display car park. All parking is paid for on arrival either online, over the phone or by using the onsite machine.
