Follow the alphabet through Salford’s collections as we take you on a journey from an aeroplane to a zither.
Each section of the collection has been explored to share some intriguing items; from paintings and decorative art, to costume and social history.
We updated the display in March 2020 and the exhibition will continue throughout 2021. Some favourites such as the Buddha and the doll’s house have returned alongside new objects and artworks to showcase the collection.
On display in our Langworthy Gallery from Saturday 16 March 2019 to Sunday 1 May 2022.
