On Tuesday 31 August Salford Museum & Art Gallery and the car park will be closed for the day whilst we carry out essential building works to repair the heating in our learning room ready for the autumn.
Whilst we are closed to the public that day we will also be recording 360 degree videos of the galleries so that we can increase access online and help individuals, schools and groups prepare for their visit.
The closure will also include the café and Local History Library and we will not be accepting any bookings during this time. We will reopen the site on Wednesday 1 September and the library will have appointments from Thursday 2 September
We apologise for any inconvenience caused and hope you understand the reasons behind the closure.
