I would like to share this sketch that Harold Riley did for me about 20 years ago when he was having lunch in Selfridges at the Trafford Centre. I was introduced to him by the waiter there. I said, ‘oh you’re like Lowry’ then he said ‘I was his protégé’. He then turned over his receipt for his dinner and he had drawn me this sketch. I feel so honoured.
