My mother-in-law Sybil Beaumont has a sketch that Harold made of her husband Tom, on a napkin. Tom was very friendly with Harold’s younger brother Mike. Tom played rugby with and against both Harold and Mike.
Michelle and Stephen (Tom’s step son and daughter-in-law) were browsing in Harold’s shop on the Quays. Stephen made himself known to Harold while they were looking at the pictures, Harold gave Stephen the drawing and asked him to give it to Tom.
Sybil also has one of Harold’s paintings bought as a wedding gift to her from Tom.
