Join artist Mandy Tolley for this very exciting drop-in session, where you can screen print your very own tote bag to take home!

For our current exhibition, Your Salford 100: Contemporary Narratives, artist Mandy Tolley has created a series of works inspired by a plush toy bear from our permanent collection – lovingly referred to as the Bear.

For one day only, she’ll be doing live screen prints of the Bear onto tote bags in our East Wing featuring a brand new design! All are welcome to watch as she does a live screen printing demonstration, or better yet –print a bag yourself!

Mandy will be showing visitors the basics and allowing people to have a go when requested. Bags, whether printed by Mandy or yourself, will be available to purchase on the day.

  • The event itself is free to attend, but if you’d like to purchase a tote the cost is £3.50 per bag.
  • Bags can only be purchased onsite on the day, not in advance.
  • There will be two colour options and one design available.
  • Bags will be available for purchase right at the activity table in our East Wing Gallery with a member of staff.

All ages welcome, and encouraged!
