Take part in our popular Life Drawing Late sessions!

These monthly workshops are themed to challenge drawing skills and develop creativity in a welcoming atmosphere.

As highly requested, this month we have a treat for animal lovers as we welcome our first four-legged life model – a dog! Dogs have inspired many artists from Picasso to Lowry, so do join us for this exciting opportunity to work from a canine model, which presents new challenges such as form and texture.

The session will be led by professional illustrator Paul Pickford. Materials will be provided including graphite, coloured pencils, paper and boards. You’re also welcome to bring your own materials if you wish, including electronic devices, provided these are ‘dry’ – so no inks or paints to help protect our collections.

This session will be taking place in our Victorian Gallery and the (human) model will be clothed. All materials included.

Adult £10 | Student £7, all materials included.
