Your Salford 100 Journeys with Pinc College

As part of the centenary celebrations, students from Pinc College have created an exhibition of new work inspired by the museum’s collection.

Inspired by the Your Salford 100 exhibition and themes being explored through their studies, students from Pinc College have created new artwork to display in the Park Gallery.

Themes of journeys, culture and migration led the students to the idea of tea drinking and the collection of teacups at the museum.

Focusing on the patterns and designs found on the cups, students have experimented with drawing, digital art, printmaking and textiles to produce a mixture of wall based and sculptural works that are shown alongside the collection.

On display from 14 February – 5 July 2026.
