Explore our latest exhibition through a series of informal, relaxed writing activities.
Held in the Quiet Light brings together the work of Briony Jenkins, Stephen Milner and Mike Thorpe and presents themes of memory, home and identity.
For this session, participants will be asked to take in the artwork on display and find connections to their own memories. These sensory responses will then serve as inspiration for creative writing. The workshop will be run by Sophie from Smallwords, a longstanding community writing group based at Coppice Avenue Library in Trafford.
All are welcome and no previous experience needed. The goal is to enjoy the process of writing and explore how it can function as a well-being activity.
The group will meet in the gallery at 12:30pm, before beginning the writing session at 1:00pm.
Complimentary teas and coffees will be provided. Ages 18+, booking required.
