My mum found your article online and sent me the attached photos of a Harold Riley sketch which has sadly faded in the sun but she says it looks worse in the photos.
She had it professionally framed and its now kept in the dark.
As far as I know from memory Grandma Pam was at an event or dinner and she was seated near or next to Harold. He must have had some letterheads with him as she said he drew it in front of her and signed it. I can only assume that’s true. It’s dated 1986 which is before she went to live in the Isle of Man. She gave it to me and dad and he had it professionally framed as he knew it would be of interest in the future. I’m not sure where the event was but probably Salford somewhere or maybe Worsley.
