I use images from the Internet to reflect on the human condition and personality with a complex inner world. “What have we lost?” “Why are we in the Internet space?” I don’t always know what it is, but I trust my instinct. Sometimes they are riddled with threats, losses, or questions about roles. Looking through the found photos that are striking, I try not to ask why I am attracted to something, and just work with it. The photographs found amaze me after they have been slightly manipulated in Photoshop with their mysterious faces or shapes that I use in my paintings. They tell stories about a certain profound human role.
