Bookable session for home educated children.

Children will explore the exciting seascapes in the Victorian Gallery. These paintings go from quiet beach side paintings to storm ridden seas. What words would be used to describe what they can see?

They will act out what it is like to be on the boat and at the beach, using props and fabric, introducing the idea of artists expressing emotion. Working in groups, children will go from creating scenes of playing at the beach to going to a wild sea. They then use torn paper to create collage seascapes, some will create fun beach scenes, other a gentle shore line, others choppy seas tossing boats about.

Suitable for those working at a Key Stage 2 level.

£4.50 per child, booking required.
