Join local creative stitching and textiles enthusiast Christine Sherburne for this low sew workshop perfect for beginners or experienced crafters alike!

For this activity we will be asking participants to take a look around our Colours exhibition, which features a range of paintings and objects organised by colour, to gather inspiration for their pieces.

Christine will then show you how to turn your ideas using mostly rewon materials into a simple design using scraps of fabric mounted onto canvas. You can also add beads, sequins, thread – how little or how much you sew is totally up to you! At the end you’ll have a bespoke piece of art ready to take home and hang.

Suitable for ages 18 years +.

£20, booking required.

The museum has a private Pay & Display car park. All parking is paid for on arrival either online, over the phone or by using the onsite machine.
