The museum is free to enter. Children under 8 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The museum is a member of the Visit England Quality Assurance scheme and is assessed annually.
There are three accessible parking spaces for blue badge holders adjacent to the museum entrance. Normal parking charges apply.
There is a ramp into the building for wheelchair and pram access.
There is an accessible toilet on the ground floor. If you need to use it, please ask at Reception.
The permanent displays, Lark Hill Place and the Victorian Gallery, include a range of sensory experiences, including audio, visual and touch elements, including tactile marble statues. All touchpoints have enhanced cleaning regimes in line with government guidance.

Choosing boards are available at reception to help you plan and organise your visit. Please ask if you would like to use these.
There is a lift to the first floor galleries and step-free access between galleries. In Lark Hill Place, the floor is slightly uneven, and there is a low kerb around the shop displays. If you need assistance getting close to the shops, a member of staff will be happy to help, in line with current government guidance.
If you require a quiet space during your visit please ask any member of staff.
We are a B.O.O.B.S approved venue for breastfeeding mothers.
