This is an exciting opportunity for artists of any age who live, work, study or were born in Salford. We welcome entries from artists in any medium including painting, drawing, print, textiles, photography, sculpture, mixed media and digital.

About the exhibition
The Open is back for 2026!
Celebrating the work of artists any age living, working, studying or were born in Salford. Expect to see over 150 works bringing together local talent in many forms including painting, drawing, print, textiles, photography, sculpture and mixed media.
The exhibition has been selected alongside an external judge; Kirby Corless, Director & Curator Ey-Up Wigan CIC.
Prizes will be awarded for first and runner up, plus the Geoffrey Key award, the Pinc College student choice, staff pick, and people’s choice- to have your say please vote for your favourite piece in the exhibition when you visit.
