What’s on at Salford Museum & Art Gallery

Salford Museum & Art Gallery invited 100 groups and individuals from across Salford to help create an exhibition marking the city’s centenary in 2026.

Based at the Energise Centre in Salford, the Be Creative community group have been busy building intricate dolls houses.

Jessica Brodigan (b. 2001, Manchester, UK) is a painter exploring parallel spaces and figures as vehicles to explore memory, identity and vulnerability.

The Open is back for 2026! Celebrating the work of artists any age living, working, studying or were born in Salford.

Artist and photographer Yan Wang Preston presents a new body of work inspired by a 300 year old sweet chestnut tree at RHS Garden Bridgewater in Salford.
