Join us for a brand-new open mic night, hosted by local collective Northern Poets’ Society!

May 18th is International Museum Day, so to mark the occasion we’ve asked members of Northern Poets’ Society to write new pieces inspired by artworks on display in our galleries, to be debuted on the night.

Audience members will then be invited to share their own poems or spoken word pieces, on any topic. This is a safe, supportive space where all are welcome to participate – or you can simply sit back and enjoy!

If you do wish to join in, the sign-up sheet will be made available on the night.

Drinks and snacks will also be on offer throughout the event.

£5 per person, booking required.

Ages 18+ only

Northern Poets’ Society is a community that was created by Bryan Dunne during lockdown, who now hold regularly monthly zoom sessions as well as live events, with the aim of promoting an inclusive community where creativity can grow.
