Salford and Manchester By Night: Paintings by Andrew Alan Matthews

Local artist Andrew Alan Matthews presents his collection of paintings of Salford and Manchester by night. Living in Salford for 18 years, he fell in love with the views across Salford Quays and around Manchester City Centre. Painting his cityscapes using loose and free flowing brush strokes, pallet knives and ink allows the characteristics of each city to emerge. The artist finds this process relaxing, enjoyable and stress free, a positivity he hopes to promote through his paintings.
