Local artist Andrew Alan Matthews presents his collection of paintings of Salford and Manchester by night. Living in Salford for 18 years, he fell in love with the views across Salford Quays and around Manchester City Centre.

We are pleased to present Andrew Alan Matthews as the inaugural solo artist for our new community space, The Park Gallery, open weekends and school holidays only.
Some of Andrew’s work is inspired by social issues he encounters across Manchester and Salford. ‘The Lower Turks Head’ is being donated via silent auction to Real Change MCR, a charity fund that helps homeless people across Manchester. Please visit their website for more information.
You can bid in person at the gallery by filling in a bidding slip and posting it in the box. Or you can bid online. To enter the silent auction online, please email exhibitions@scll.co.uk with your name, phone number and highest bid amount.
The highest bidder will be contacted at the end of the exhibition. Payment will need to be made directly to Real Change MCR. Once payment is confirmed, the winner can collect the painting from Salford Museum and Art Gallery to enjoy!
