Online Exhibition: Celebrating the coronation of King Charles III on 6 May 2023

To celebrate the coronation of King Charles III, we are looking back at some images from the Local History Library photograph collection relating to the royal family. They include images of the late Queen’s coronation in 1953, street parties for her Silver Jubilee in 1977 and visits to Salford made by both her and King Charles.
