Take a step back in time to Lark Hill Place, an atmospheric re-creation of a typical northern street during Victorian times before taking in the upstairs galleries displaying the art and collections along with two new exhibitions ‘You Belong Here: Artists Rediscovering Salford’s Green Spaces’ and ‘A Trip Down Memory Lane: Photographs by George Shepherd’.
Visits are free; however, we welcome donations. Your support helps us to remain free of charge, display our collections, restore our collections, and produce a changing exhibitions programme, events and learning activities for your enjoyment.
Visits available from 11.30am to 4pm, Tuesday to Sunday.
If you are visiting with children, why not buy your ‘Let’s Explore’ trail in advance? Follow the trail around the museum and explore our galleries and Lark Hill Place – £2.
Max. of 20 people on each start time. We kindly ask any booking made does not include more than one household. You will start your visit in the street where we have a limit of 20 people, and then you are free to explore the galleries. Face coverings must be worn when visiting museums (unless exempt). Arrival at your allocated start time is essential.

|Children under 8 years old must be accompanied by someone who is 16 or over and who is responsible for them during their visit. We request that for every 5 children visiting there is at least 1 responsible adult with them.|
