My mother-in-law Sybil Beaumont has a sketch that Harold made of her husband Tom, on a napkin.
Sybil’s husband Tom was very friendly with Harold’s younger brother Mike. Tom played rugby with and against both Harold and Mike. Michelle and Stephen (Tom’s step son and daughter-in-law) were browsing in Harold’s shop on the Quays. Stephen made himself known to Harold- while they were looking at the pictures, Harold gave Stephen the drawing and asked him to give it to Tom.
Sybil also has one of Harold’s paintings bought as a wedding gift to her from Tom.
